The Jenisch Park has existed since the early 19th century and is closely linked to the history of the wealthy merchant family Jenisch. Martin Johann Jenisch, a Hamburg merchant and politician, acquired the grounds in the 1820s and had it transformed into an English landscape garden, known for its extensive meadows, gentle hills, and winding paths. Today, Jenisch Park not only serves as a recreational area but also as a cultural meeting place. The Jenisch House: A Masterpiece of Classicism

• Arrival by Public Transport: You can take the S-Bahn lines S1 or S11 to the “Klein Flottbek” station. From there, it’s just a short walk to the park entrance. Alternatively, several bus lines also serve the area near the park, including lines 286 and 111.
